Captain Sakhmet, Composite Guardian

Allegedly created as one of Pardis' guardians, Sakhmet stood watch over the people, protecting them from monsters both inside and outside the city walls for centuries.

Unlike many of his gruff, thuggish brethren, cruelty does not come naturally to Sakhmet, save in times when he would punish those who would threaten the soft, fragile humans in his charge.

Possessing the nearly unheard of ability to wield Jiomansi, the magic of the elements, Sakhmet seemed destined for greatness, his skill and unusual talent rocketing him towards the prestigious title of Captain of the Arcane Guard.

With a promising career, immortality and a prospering home, Sakhmet's life was perfect, at least until five years ago.

It was then that the Thief of Hearts appeared; a vivacious, dangerous regicidal femme fatale, intent on killing the city's beloved monarch.

They clashed on many an occasion and Sakhmet would thwart Sati's plots time and time again, often at the cost of his pride and dignity.

Nothing could have prepared Sakhmet for during one encounter, she forced herself upon him and irresistible as she was, he was seduced by her charms.

It was then that he discovered that the villainess had given him her black heart and had taken his in return, resulting in a turbulent and bizarre relationship.

Now Sakhmet walks on the blade's edge as he continues to protect the city from the woman he loves.


The city of Pardis and all its inhabitants are part of a unique world inspired by the old D&D setting Al'Qadim and Medinaat Al Salam and the Ivory Kingdoms from AEG's Legend of the Burning Sands. The rest of the world designs are currently pending as architecture is hardly my forte. A hobby of mine; sometimes I run a campaign in my free time and it helps to have spare settings handy.
